Worked on optimisation of tail latency for heterogeneous edge devices (Guide: Dr. Arani Bhattacharya) - Built a DQN-based reinforcement learning agent for tail latency optimisation on heterogeneous edge devices, including reward design (step- and episodic-level), data preprocessing, state construction, and model/encoder design for variable-length system states. - Designed and implemented a controller pipeline for scheduling requests between users and heterogeneous edge servers, incorporating request queuing/dequeuing, dispatching, and coordination to enable episodic RL training.

Worked with the Control Plane team in CloudSQL to build internal tools that help engineers quickly diagnose and resolve test failures. - Proposed, designed, and delivered a fully automated root cause analysis (RCA) pipeline, integrating internal logging and issue tracking APIs, with Gemini 2.5 Pro for error analysis. Delivered ahead of schedule. - Built a monitoring library in Go to track cross-region Remote Procedure Call (RPC) errors and designed a metrics pipeline to capture data from short-lived test processes.

Led the end-to-end development of a CAD modelling software for virtual reality headsets. (Advisor: Dr. Kalpana Shankhwar) - Designed and implemented a modular, scalable CAD modelling framework in Unity using OpenXR and low-level C# scripting, allowing for real-time 3D interaction with HTC Vive headsets. - Designed the VR-native user interface in Unity for intuitive and ergonomic interaction in head-mounted displays. - Implemented core CAD modelling logic in C#, for parametric object creation (cubes, cylinders, spheres, springs), object dimension and scale manipulation, material property control (e.g., colour, metallicness), and full 3D spatial transformations such as translation, rotation, and shearing. - Developed solid modelling operations such as extrusion and intrusion using boolean mesh operations via the pb_CSG library. - Implemented freehand and precision-based shape drawing using hand interactions, allowing users to define custom 2D profiles and extrude them into 3D geometry.

Implemented and benchmarked transformer-based NER models (BERT, RoBERTa, DeBERTa) for parsing cooking instructions, achieving >91% F1 score via optimised data preprocessing and model fine-tuning (Advisor: Dr. Ganesh Bagler).
