My work is centered on game understanding and performance analysis to support decision-making in football. With a solid academic background — BSc in Sports Science, MSc in Sports Training (Football – Game Analysis) and a PhD in Sports Science (Match Analysis) — I focus on transforming complex game information into clear, relevant and actionable insights for elite football environments. Alongside video analysis, I use data analysis and visualization tools such as R, Python and Power BI to extract, structure and communicate performance insights. My work is grounded in a game-model–driven approach, where analysis is not an end in itself, but a tool to support: -strategic preparation of matches; -alignment between game plan, training process and competition; -informed decision-making by technical staff. I have led the full performance analysis cycle, including match and opponent analysis, live match support, training analysis, and the communication of insights through video and data. Core areas of impact: -Tactical and strategic match analysis (own team & opponents); -Opponent reports integrating qualitative interpretation with quantitative indicators; -Match plan support aligned with the coaching staff’s game model; -Video analysis for players and staff, focused on clarity and relevance; -Individual player analysis within the collective context; -Live match analysis (full match and halftime feedback); -Training session analysis, including video feedback and task database development; -Development of data-driven insights using R, Python and Power BI to support technical and strategic decisions. I am experienced with professional analysis ecosystems, including SportsCode, Nacsport, Angles, Piero and Coach Paint, as well as scouting and data platforms such as Wyscout. My professional interest lies in high-performance football environments where analysis is used to enhance game understanding, support coaching decisions and optimize performance.

The duties and ideas that I looked to develop are: - game analysis (our team and opponents); - prepare and deliver an opponent report for the technical staff (with keynote or power point - with qualitative and quantitative analysis); - deliver a match plan accordingly to the next match; - prepare the video presentation of our team and opponents for the players (with the use of the softwares Angles & Coach Paint); - prepare and deliver individual video of our players and rivals for the technical staff; - record, code and analyse the training sessions and games; - drone footage of the training sessions; - present and use a video wall type solution in the training sessions, and also live feed; - live feed on matchday: full match and halftime information; - present insights to the technical staff and board; - prepare and deliver to the technical staff a training exercise database of the season.
