I’m Therese Baptiste. I help organizations build Social Legitimacy for Sustainability Transitions. Many sustainability strategies fail not because they lack ambition, funding, or technical expertise. They fail because they do not bring people along. Organizations today face growing pressure to deliver sustainability commitments while maintaining stakeholder trust, public acceptance, employee engagement, and meaningful societal impact. This is where Social Legitimacy becomes essential. Drawing on experience as a former Minister of Health, former UN Ambassador, academic, consultant, and author of "Empowering Social Growth", I work with organizations, institutions, and governments to bridge the gap between sustainability ambition and societal acceptance. My work focuses on helping leaders move beyond compliance and reporting to create sustainability strategies that people understand, support, and help bring to life.
