Don't let my penchant for numbers fool you! I got my masters degree in business analytics as a way to express my love of data but I have experience with communicating complex ideas to diverse groups including clients, students and the public. I love liaising between the groups that understand the business goals and those with technical expertise to find the best solutions. I am passionate about finding angles and asking questions that may not have been considered to help fully understand a situation. Using this to piece together the complicated interactions of your data collection system and business needs allows me to make recommendations tailored to your requirements. I can identify where the gaps and biases are in the data the same way I did for historical environmental site information as a remediation consultant. Although I am still passionate about creating practical environmental solutions, I love any task that will let me dig into an analytical challenge.
Leading the end-to-end design and build of mission-critical data tools, including normalizing data, facilitating automation of data pipelines and reporting, improving the reliability of report outcomes, and facilitating connectivity of data in the corporate data warehouse, leading to a 10% reduction annually in manual processing. Challenged the original approach to the SDTC-to-NRC data transition, and led implementation of a technology-based solution that reduced the timeline by 6 weeks while improving data accuracy
