Hi, I'm Joe, a 3D generalist with aspirations for tech art. I have a BA from OCADU and am currently enrolled in Seneca’s game art and animation graduate program. I have a big passion for 3D graphics, VFX, and game design. I also enjoy coding and am very proficient in Python, but I also have experience with writing shaders in GLSL, as well as lower level languages like C++. Creatively I like to concept and design creatures and characters. Whether it’s procedural work in Houdini or making models with ZBrush and Blender. After I finish a model I always enjoy jumping into retopology and rigging which I’ve been using Maya more for lately. Between all these programs I try to practice my scripting skills by making tools that can help out my workflow by automating tasks or bridge multiple software together. I have so much more to learn between my technical and creative skills and that makes this work all the more exciting! Not to mention the fast pace of change in today's digital industries. I love following new tools and workflows in hopes of applying them to myself or recommending them to others. I try to be constantly up to date and experimenting with new trends in AI, 3D graphics, and game development. Feel free to reach out or connect with me if you feel our interests align!
Automated the process for formatting over 1000 meshes, then collaborated on a script that made them into a computer vision dataset by rigging, animating, and rendering each mesh in a variety of ways.
