I’m a graphic design student at Falmouth University with a growing passion for visual communication and typography. I achieved A*A*A at college and am currently on track for a First at university, showing both my commitment and attention to detail. Alongside my studies, I spent nearly four years working at PGL, where I developed strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments. Progressing into a manager role for eight months gave me valuable experience in leading teams, making decisions under pressure as well as communicating effectively with a wide range of people. I’m particularly interested in design that combines creativity and process specifically in music and storytelling. I enjoy exploring new ideas, and creating work that connects with my audiences. I worked as a catering team leader at PGL Travel for my gap year before starting university. It taught me some incredibly valuable skills, including communication and logistics, leadership and management as well as personal skills. It was a great opportunity for me as it allowed me to grow exponentially within a year.
I worked in this roll for the summer after my GCSE’s and it gave me valuable experience into first time employment and the hospitality sector.
