About

Drawing on my extensive public affairs, strategic communication and leadership expertise, I work to meet the sometimes complex needs of both clients and colleagues in Brussels, across Europe and globally. As a recognized expert in political and issues-based communication and campaigning, I work with multinationals, governments and NGOs to build and protect reputations, to shape decision-making and to handle critical executive challenges. Having successfully managed and led a prominent EU public affairs office in Brussels, securing meaningful growth and building effective teams, I now play a Europe-wide role. This sees me integrate and lead collaborative, multi-office teams in devising and executing strategic communication campaigns for clients of all types. Alongside a focus on hiring, growing and retaining talent in established and highly competitive verticals, I also have a consistent track record of identifying and supporting innovation, engaging with fresh ideas from colleagues and clients to open new opportunities in emergent areas, for example, fintech and space, as well as in evolving horizontal services such as data-led campaigning. Over the years I have presented and moderated at various conferences and events in Brussels and across Europe, providing thought leadership on topics ranging from Brexit and Ukraine’s future in Europe to navigating continuity and change in the new US-EU relationship.

Managing Director (April 2019 – Sept. 2024) and Chief Client Officer, Public Affairs Europe (Sept. 2023 – June 2025). Led a multi-office, regional public affairs function alongside global client leadership, senior strategic advisory and office management across a range of client retainers, projects and campaigns. Spent over 16 years working in APCO’s Brussels office, with a third of that time spent leading the team there, which that grew from 35 to 70 outstanding colleagues at its peak. Secured revenue and margin growth through COVID, the war in Ukraine and through two institutional changeovers plus wider national political upheavals. During that time, work included commercially and politically consequential campaigns around merger controls/antitrust decisions, engagement with critical policy and regulatory developments, notably in technology and financial services, and campaigns to promote, defend or redefine reputations or critical issues amongst stakeholders and decision-makers in the European institutions, national capitals and beyond.
