About

I build interfaces people remember: fast, fluid, and obsessively detailed. With 28 years of front-end craft behind me, I've spent the last decade sitting at the intersection of design and engineering: turning concepts into high-fidelity prototypes and production-grade UI at Channel 4, MoneySuperMarket, and beyond. I've shipped experiences for streaming platforms, Fire TV, web, and immersive 3D environments using React, Next.js, Svelte, VueJS, Three.js and WebGL. What I care about is the felt quality of an interface; the timing of an animation, the weight of a transition, the thing that makes a user trust what they're looking at and feel delight that flat pages do not deliver. I'm as comfortable with CSS keyframes as I am with shader code. I understand WCAG inside out, not as a checklist but because universally designed, accessible UI is a better UI. I'm not a build-pipeline person or a test-coverage-percentage person. I'm the person you bring in when the thing on screen has to be genuinely good. My passion lies in the creation of accessible, compliant, lightweight code to an exceptional standard in the tightest timeframes as well as passing on my experience through team building, line-management and mentoring.
