I am the founder of The Goods Virtual World, an education ecosystem focused on experiential learning, workforce education, and financial literacy. Our work spans immersive simulations, books, guided learning modules, and long-form writing designed to give people clarity, agency, and practical understanding of how systems actually work.
As Market Sales Manager for La-Z-Boy Incorporated, I was responsible for leading sales performance, operational strategy, and team development across a multi-store retail market generating more than $50M in annual revenue. I oversaw the performance of 20+ retail locations and more than 200 employees, including store managers, interior designers, and sales associates. My role focused on driving consistent revenue growth, strengthening customer experience, and developing high-performing leadership teams across the market. I partnered closely with store leaders to analyze sales metrics, conversion rates, average ticket performance, and operational trends to identify opportunities for growth and improved efficiency. Through hands-on coaching, structured sales training, and accountability systems, I helped elevate sales performance and improve team productivity while maintaining strong operational standards across all locations. In addition to sales leadership, I worked closely with store designers and customer experience teams to support whole-home furniture solutions. This included collaborating on in-home design consultations, confirming measurements, and ensuring product selections aligned with customer lifestyle needs and space planning requirements. I also led recruiting, onboarding, and leadership development initiatives to strengthen talent pipelines and prepare emerging leaders for advancement. My focus was building a culture of accountability, service excellence, and performance while ensuring stores consistently delivered a premium retail experience aligned with La-Z-Boy’s brand standards
