Works as design transmission line engineer at B&V Orlando office. Mainly design and analyze transmission line projects from 69kV to 345KV. Projects consist of rerate, rebuild, upgrade, DOT expansion, remediation, looping into new substation, modification and new transmission lines.
• Evaluate the existing structures and foundations of substation if redesigns or repairs are required per current codes and replacing new load on structure. • Complete design proposed substation steel and aluminum structure by Staad Pro 2007 and Spreadsheet to meet ASCE7, ASCE10, ASCE38, IBC and AISC 13th. • Foundation and structure member analysis and design completed by Enercalc program and Spread sheetand per ACI 318 & 350. • Familiar with PLS tower to analyze and design lattice power/communication tower. • Familiar with aluminum/ galvanized support structure related to Magnetic field such as power reactor. • Familiar with weld and bolt connection and anchor bolt connection from structure to foundation. • Analyze and design buried pipe system to meet peak flow and ISO requirements. • Analyze and evaluate public water system to demonstrate that PWS meet the the 4-Log inactivation or removal of viruses. • Familiar with 500 KV Transmission line project and low voltage to high voltage substation • Familiar with substation site design as site plan, grading plan, roadway plan and sediment & erosion plan
Worked as civil/structural engineer for Ark Engineering, Inc. and had a responsibility on site civil development and structure design. While I was working at Ark Engineering, I gained a lot of experiences and knowledge to accomplish my career as professional engineer. Structure Responsibility: • Complete a wide variety of designs as concrete, masonry, steel, timber and post tension structures for commercial, residential and institutional facilities. • Design aspects of structural systems relate to various building codes as ACI, IBC, AISC, ASCE, MSJC, UBC, FBC, NDS, AWS and AASHTO. • Prepare structural drawings, plans, specifications, report and documents. • Review/prepare shop drawing • Produce installation drawings as well as as-built drawing. • Site investigation to determine the cause of structural failures, damages and defects. • Provide detailed reports to clients Site Civil Development Responsibility: • Prepare preliminary and completed layout of site plan, grading plan, utility plan, drainage plan, stormwater management (Wet and Dry pond), pavement, soil erosion control, and parking. • Prepare drawings, details, specifications and reports and a submittal package. • Familiar with municipal zoning and other regulation such as wetlands, encroachments, variances and setbacks.
