Savannah Williams graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a Comic Art Major and a Minor in Creative Writing. She has experience in Photoshop and Indesign from creating numerous illustrations and comic projects. She has worked with Uncivilized Books in the print production of both minicomics and regular books as well as in producing her own minicomic "Roundabout House" published under Uncivilized Labs. She strives to create stories that highlight truths about the world and the people around us, including themes of family and forgiveness in fantastical settings.
Supervises children and teens area in the evening. Closes and tidies up area at the end of the day. Assists children's librarian with projects and events.
Sorts and places books on hold from other libraries. Retrieves and sends holds from the library to others in the catalog system. Assesses damaged books and notes problems or places them into mending. Contacts patrons with missing discs and inquires about them.
Assisted with set-up and take-down of art materials and classroom space before, after, and during classes. Supervised and gave advice on students' projects. Communicated with the art teacher on student goals and expectations.
Made guest reservations and answered questions regarding their stay. Built customer relations over the phone and in person. Managed emotional guest situations with professionalism.
