With over 12 years’ experience across IT, education, journalism, customer service, administration, and libraries, I am driven by a strong belief that technology should empower people, not overwhelm them. As a neurodivergent professional with Asperger’s, I bring a thoughtful, structured, and detail‑focused approach to my work, alongside a deep empathy for those who may feel anxious or unsure when navigating digital systems. As a Digital Skills Trainer at Nottingham College, I support staff through practical Microsoft and IT training delivered in one‑to‑one and group settings, as well as CPD sessions across the college that build confidence and everyday digital skills. I am also one of the College’s 50 Mental Health First Aiders, offering support, encouraging open conversations, and contributing to a workplace culture where people feel safe, understood, and valued. Certified across Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Apple education tools, I am committed to continuous learning and sharing knowledge in clear, accessible ways that make a meaningful difference for staff, learners, and colleagues. My long‑term goal is to train as an adult teacher, building on my experience in digital skills, inclusion, and wellbeing to support confident, lifelong learning.
