Responsibilities: - Lead a database team: Set up database forms, mine, process database, analyze and report to the Board of Directors - Monitor, synthesize the international and domestic economic information, analyze, assess the impact on the foreign exchange and gold markets, make periodic and ad hoc reports - Counsel the Governor on gold market management concerns during National Assembly's questioning sessions and regular government press conferences - Monitor credit institutions’ and enterprises’ activities of foreign exchange and gold trade. Advise entities on matters of gold trading regulations. - Build, evaluate market management options. Propose the Governor intervention solutions on foreign and gold market - Take procedures of granting licenses to trade gold bar, to import raw gold - Research relevant legal documents and international experiences to build strategy on managing the foreign exchange and gold markets, ensuring the achievement of the set objectives Projects: - The project of upgrading administrative procedures in the foreign exchange sector to level 3 and 4. The project helps to shorten the time to process administrative procedures, enhance transparency, and save costs for businesses - The project of building connection to the Single Window Customs system for the procedure of granting a license to import raw gold. The project helps to shorten the processing time of documents and save costs for businesses - The project of building SG4 reporting system of the State Bank of Vietnam related to foreign exchange and gold reporting. The project helps data collection be performed timely, accurately, transparently, and save time and effort in data processing - Build ISO process for administrative procedures relating to foreign exchange and gold, which makes the processing of documentary transparent and keeps records clear and convenient in tracking, searching
