My duties include: • Taking-off quantities (using costX, Cubit Estimating and Bluebeam Revu) • Preparing Cost Plans and Bills of Quantities by analyzing proposals, information and requirements received. • Submitting reasonable queries to client for missing information and following up on the query responses. • Checking the addendums received time to time and work back on projects accordingly. • Working by prioritizing to meet the target deadlines.
I have been assigned to Construction of Selvanagar Larger Rural Water Supply Scheme project. This is a project to WaSSIP. My duties include: • Preparation of Variation and Extra Work claims inline with contractual provisions • Interim Valuations, Price Escalation • Joint measurement at site with Consultant Representative • Sub-contractor and supplier management (from calling quotations to payment certificates) • Material reconciliation • Productivity studies and establishment of Labour, Material and Equipment norms • Cost Planning and Cost Analysis for pipe laying • Revision of construction programme • Preparation of DPR, DSR, monthly progress report and minutes of meetings
