As I still seek to achieve my MBA and CFA designation, I concurrently work in the finance industry as a Managing Director for a financial company I founded. Being a professional in the finance realm is a huge responsibility that needs good judgement, ethical practice, and standards that benefit all parties without harming the financial industry’s reputation. Financial practice not only needs diligence and care but good education. I do believe that there is still great room to learn and grow in the financial industry and develop myself as a highly equipped financial professional, hence my hunger to acquire academic qualifications and the desire to work for top financial institutions so I may obtain the necessary skillset and competence to one day provide individuals with employment opportunities, make an impact in South Africa and build a financial company that offers a range of boutique services.
