About

I am a Training Program and Operations SME with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations develop capability, improve performance, and solve complex operational challenges across law enforcement, government contracting, diplomatic security, transportation safety, and private-sector environments. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to situations involving change, growth, startup, transition, or operational improvement. Whether implementing new programs, refining existing processes, developing instructors, improving standards, evaluating performance, or solving organizational problems, I enjoy understanding how systems work and identifying practical ways to make them work better. My experience includes supporting domestic and international programs for the U.S. Department of State, establishing and leading operations supporting NHTSA’s Crash Investigation Sampling System (CISS), conducting traffic crash investigations and reconstruction, developing curriculum and training standards, implementing process improvements, and supporting the startup and maturation of complex training and operational programs. I have extensive experience conducting performance-based evaluations, validating competency standards, supporting accreditation and quality assurance initiatives, and working with stakeholders across government, contractor, and private-sector organizations. As a Six Sigma Green Belt, I have a longstanding interest in process improvement, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives. Colleagues often know me as someone who enjoys understanding how things work—whether those systems involve people, processes, organizations, vehicles, or technology. I have built a career around identifying inefficiencies, solving problems, and helping organizations build sustainable capability. Core areas of expertise include Program Implementation, Operational Improvement, Training Development, Curriculum Design, Instructor Development, Performance Evaluation, Process Improvement, Transportation Safety Programs, Traffic Crash Investigation, Stakeholder Coordination, and International Training Operations.
