About

Hey there! I'm Tess Miller, DMA, CMP, CPC – a flute-playing, soul-soothing, and energy-boosting multipreneur. By day, I'm providing relaxing sounds at the bedside as a Certified Music Practitioner® at McLaren Greater, creating a healing environment for patients since 2015. You'll also find me on stage, crafting beautiful music with the Traverse City Philharmonic, playing dynamic chamber music with the Durant Street Wind Quintet, or appearing as a guest solo recitalist. When I'm not performing on stage, I'm nurturing the next generation of musicians at Alma College and the Michigan State University Community Music School, spreading the joy of music making to all ages. Most recently, I became a certified professional coach, on a mission to turn those STUCK places in your life into opportunities for growth, healing, and transformation. My book, "The Book of STUCK: Stop Holding Yourself Back and Start Moving Forward," is a guide to liberation, straight from my home in St. Johns, MI, where I live with my composer husband, Scott Harding, and our consummate crochet artist, Phoenix.
