I most enjoy working with others in a collaborative environment - I am a strong believer in giving back to my community and helping others, and know that social responsibility is important for me in whatever space I work in. Most of my previous work and volunteer experience revolves around customer service and retail, and I think I've honed those two skills very well - I feel very confident to manage problems and work with customers in a variety of situations. I'm a highly dedicated student, and school and my academics have always been a priority. I was Summa Cum Laude all four years of high school, and finished my first quarter at the University of Washington with a 4.0. Beyond several awards I received in high school, I was most honored to be given the WIHI Exceptional Learner Scholarship worth $50,000, a fund that has allowed me to attend the University of Washington. Experiences like these have only solidified my belief that I am a product of my community and those who have supported me - in short, I an a strong believer in paying attention to the community and focusing on the collective wellbeing of whatever workplace I find myself in.
Worked to ring up customers, restock the front floor, and fulfill online orders. Also worked on the floor when necessary - communication and responsibility were two main factors in this role.
Part time worker, running the front check out and restocking products.
Worked with a local farm stand to pass out and distribute boxes of locally grown food. Customer service and communication were highly relevant in this job, and interactions with a variety of people were common.
