• Led a team of 10 analysts that designed and disseminated the quarterly review of performance to senior management. • Performed detailed analysis that identified an issue with the methodology for cost recovery of Trust funds and redesigned a solution to minimize under-recovery of revenue of approximately $7m. • Provided advice on policy, resource planning, and performance management to 3 Regions; undertook analyses to ensure good practices were shared to ensure increased efficiency and effective use of resources. • Managed the Business Planning process for 2003/2004 for a budget of $2bn.
Produced the strategic plan and managed budget for a $20m business unit; ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and underlying business assumptions: • Program managed the implementation of best practice solutions. • Managed the introduction of post-investment appraisal processes and associated decision-points within the division to maximize the value of capital expenditure, in growth projects. • Prepared and coordinated external ‘Price Control Review’ documents: developed responses to Regulatory requests with major cost reduction results - $280m over 5 years and tracked progress and managed the business plan and budget for the shared services division: • Spearheaded the implementation of activity based costing (ABC), a first within the regulated gas industry, which covered 166 business units enabling the analysis of pricing metrics/ models to highlight revenue sensitivities across market segments.
Performed risk assessments and reviewed the assessments on the credit proposals submitted by front line officers; exercised credit judgment; and made sound credit recommendations and/or decisions; Performed pro-active on-going credit monitoring and risk management on the client as well as at portfolio level; Ensured all internal credit policies and procedures were adhered to and helped to develop or enhance such policies and procedures; Ensured on-going compliance with regulatory requirements; Helped to prepare various credit reports for Senior Management;
