About

Attorney, policy researcher, and not-for-profit leader. As Executive Director of the Antiquities Coalition, I oversee the organization’s work to fight cultural racketeering, the illicit trade in ancient art and artifacts. We champion better law and policy, foster diplomatic cooperation, and advance proven solutions with public and private partners worldwide, including the U.S. government, United Nations, and art market leaders. Thanks to our proven track record of achievement, the Annual Global Go To Think Tank Index recognized our institute as one of the “Best New Think Tanks of 2017” in its prestigious ranking published by the University of Pennsylvania. I am also a member of the New York State Bar, teach cultural property law at Johns Hopkins University, and am a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
