•R&D lead for EU MDR remediation, submission, and implementation projects for multiple products across the Endoscopy division. Developed a test method for evaluating kink resistance of endoscopic balloon catheters. Researched various existing test methods to leverage for new test method. Documented in detail the procedure for testing balloons per quality management procedures. Executed newly developed test method to confirm the test was suitable for evaluating kink resistance. Authored risk documentation for compliance to corporate Material of Animal Origin standards. Conducted product verification testing on multiple product families for endoscopic use. Testing conducted on Instron for tensile and compression and also functional testing in simulated use fixtures. Prepared samples for testing and assembled test fixtures per applicable methods. Calculated, analyzed data and reported it in an organized report format. Competed in company promoted Innovation Challenge. Participated on a team to brainstorm solutions to improve a current product performance. Resulted in 3 IPs submitted.
