Duties. Paraprofessional educators generally assist teachers in the classroom, supervise students outside of the classroom, or provide administrative support for teaching. Job duties range from filling teaching positions to supplementing regular classroom curriculum with additional enrichment activities for students.

This job is like a temporary or seasonal type of possession. Some weeks I don't work at all where other weeks it is like working a full time job. When working at the sales I am responsible for taking money in the form of cash, check, or credit card from patrons in exchange for antiques or services. Scans items, provides change, balances drawer, and processes card transactions. With estate sales we also work as a support system, helping family members decide what should be sold or what the family wants to keep.
Special Educaion Paraprofessionals work under the overall supervision of their special education teachers. We are required to implement special education or related services for a class and/or to provide direct assistance to certain speical ed. students. Their duties will vary depending upon the age of students served as well as the nature and severity of the student’s disabilities.
