Championed purchase of new software system for R&I and regulatory which will provide product development and regulatory efficiency. Communicate pending and finalized new regulations to R&I teams. Assure developed formulas comply with customer requirements such as Sephora Clean. Create system to organize and track team projects. Develop SDS's, Ingredient lists, QQ's. Create Raw material dossiers as requested by clients. Created artwork guideline for use by regulatory team. Created system to organize SPF results. Monitor and communicate upcoming new regulations.
Assure formulas are compliant with global regulations. Manage raw material data base, maintaining accurate ingredient descriptions. Analyze formulas to assure ingredients meet customer profiles. Access products for claim feasibility. Create and manage internal protocol, according to FDA and PCPC guidelines, for developing ingredient lists. Keep apprised of new pending regulations and advise R&I team of potential changes. Review formulas for Prop 65, Country registration, marketing claims (vegan, no animal testing, 1,4 dioxane, ect) . Provide summary reports for raw material safety (CIR, Canada and EU regulations). Access formulas to assure products comply with customer black list requirements.
