As a marketing consultant for 15 years, a major hurdle was working with customers who didn't have a business plan. It made developing a marketing strategy more hit-or-miss than providing the direction to make the right decisions. As a principal with David Rovinski in the Fluidity Business Planning Group, our combined intellectual capital and more than 40 years of experience gave us an exciting opportunity to help entrepreneurs and existing business owners grow their business. I developed working documents to help business owners manage their business, especially cash flow, and drive business with a consumer-oriented marketing strategy so they could go from a plan to profitability. The plan - contrary to a widely held perception - is an on-going process that is as vital to a business as having a bank account. Diving into a business concept with a customer enabled us to get to know their business and as they got more comfortable, help them implement the plan effectively.
