This is accomplished by: TRAINING – Innovative instructor and facilitator who conducts classroom and on the job training in a wide range of highly technical and complex subjects involving risk management and OSHA required compliance training. • Provides expertise in electrical safety and NFPA 70E from a realistic and practical approach. • Conducts Fall Protection Training for construction and general industry, including wind and tower climbing and rescue; • Authorized educator for OSHA 10 & 30 hour for construction and general industry • Develops safety and health training programs, policies and procedures that help ensure employee knowledge and proficiency that is based on the particular exposure. CONSULTING – Assists companies in administering Safety and Occupational Health Programs by providing value added services for various construction and general industry exposures throughout the United States and Canada.
• Mentored and provided professional advice and technical assistance to field personnel enabling effective loss control services to our insured’s. • Write and revise corporate policies and procedures, to ensure tools and techniques for field personnel compliant and up to date with OSHA and industry standards. • Perform detailed regional office audits of field loss control service activities. Analyzing service calls, Loss Control Recommendations, Underwriting reports, Letters, Loss Ratios, and time management. To measure field loss control activities and provide effective feedback to field personnel. • I manage loss control activities as third party administrator for a captive involving municipalities through out the state of Wisconsin
Master Training Specialist and Instructor at OSHA’s national training center I am primarily responsible for teaching the initial required training courses for new OSHA Compliance Officers (CSHO). Additionally I provide instruction for numerous other general industry, health related, and construction subjects at basic, intermediate, and advanced level for CSHO, and other state and federal agencies. This is accomplished by: • Conducting classroom training in a wide range of highly technical and complex subjects interviewing strategies, specifically I teach: Safety and Health Management Systems, Construction Basics, and Initial Compliance Class as related to occupational safety and health concepts, hazard analysis, legal aspects of related laws and regulations, compliance process, policies, and procedures, and OSHA standards.
