Self Service Tools & Framework – Defining a set of capabilities to empower our end user community and provide access to the plethora of data sources that exist in the environment with easy to use visualizing and speed to insight. Leveraging existing Symantec layers to provide low cost and robust solutions across all functional areas. Natural Language Query Evaluation – Completed multi-phase vendor evaluation project assessing the NLQ capabilities in their BI Suites. We formed a cross functional BRM council to ensure a diverse point of view when measuring specific capabilities in each of the tool Sets. The POC’s phase of the project was structured in a “Bake Off” format where each vendor used the same use cases and datasets to provide an apple’s to apple’s comparison of the products capabilities in the NLQ space. The main points of comparison where the enterprise search & Automated insight generation and how they utilized the Machine learning and AI algorithms to improve their results over time.
Promotion. Directs Global Business Solutions team consisting of direct and matrix reporting relationships. Delivers technical and functional support for development of BO and BW. Team included 6 Project Managers the field sales organization and preparing for Win7/Office. • Guided business organization during the development of off-line planning tool.
