Developed an ML-based framework for harmonizing stereotactic electrophysiological recordings to eliminate batch effects across clinical centers. Built automated pipelines for real-time feature extraction on a cloud-based platform to localize epileptic networks from intracranial EEG.
Developed encoding schemes for high-data-rate neural transmission through the Connexus® Brain-Computer Interface, enabling communication for patients with severe motor impairments. Designed an end-to-end system for low-latency online inference from intracortical signals using neural decoders. Conducted independent research in Prof. Bassett's Complex Systems Lab. Used graph-theoretic algorithms and statistical modeling to measure inter-subject variability in structural connectivity across brain networks, using diffusion MRI data from the Human Connectome Project. Presented my work at the 5th International Convention on the Mathematics of Neuroscience and AI in May 2024.
Led a 7-member team through a strategic consulting project for a biotechnology startup developing an orally-deliverable influenza vaccine. Analyzed global supply chains to reduce product manufacturing costs and develop strategy for international market expansion.
Ranked as the best individual debater nationally, I was selected to represent Slovakia at the World School Debating Championships in 2020 and 2021 as part of a 5-member national team. Served as an official adjudicator at WSDC 2022.
