20-week internship at SLB. Honestly, time passed so quickly. It feels like just yesterday I was nervous about starting something new, and now I’m walking away with so many valuable experiences and lessons. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and work alongside such supportive and inspiring people. Thank you to everyone who guided me patiently, answered my endless questions, and trusted me with responsibilities. Your mentorship and encouragement meant more than you know. This internship has helped me grow not just professionally, but personally as well. I’ve gained confidence, improved my skills. Grateful for this chapter and excited for the next one 🩷✨

    Jul 2024 - Nov 2024 · 5 mos

🌟 Internship Experience at ServiceSG (Kampong Chai Chee CC) Over the past 4.5 months, I had the opportunity to intern at ServiceSG, a one-stop centre under the Public Service Division, where I gained valuable firsthand experience in public service delivery. I was primarily involved in supporting residents with quick transactions, and occasionally assisted in more complex matters, such as CPF and LPA-related queries. This role strengthened my communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills while deepening my understanding of how government services can be adapted to meet community needs. I also learned the importance of empathy, patience, and teamwork—especially when overcoming challenges like language barriers or handling resident concerns. Grateful for my supervisors' and colleagues' mentorship and support, this internship has been both humbling and inspiring. It reaffirmed my interest in people-focused work and encouraged me to consider future opportunities in the public service sector.

Being Vice chairperson , I got to work with my CCA chairperson and even other CCA leaders to plan event/ activity that the member can take part in, with the help and suggestion of the teachers. We got to do activity such as Builders and Bulldozers, Minefield and River crossing. With being an outdoor CCA, we also got to choose what outdoor activity we could do such as outdoor cooking. I got to learn how to plan for activities and manage the CCA, it takes a lot of work in the background to make everything possible, with the helps of the teachers as well

I was under student engagement team, we also had to plan teachers' day, Youth day, Retreat camp and Junior council selection camp, with all of this event we had to ensure that every class representative ( about 20 class reps ) was clear of their roles and responsibilities during every event. With this, I got to learn a lot of the background work to be able to manage, plan and work as a team to get all of this event running.
