I have more than 20 years extensive work experience in International import and export operations. At AIT, I have received the Diamond employee of the year award in year of 2014 and 2015 for the West coast region. I enjoy the challenges that this industry provides and I face them with strong analytical and problem solving skills. I am a highly self motivated person with a strong work ethic working with a team and independently. In the past few years, I have been extensively using CargoWise in processing shipments and quotes. In year of 2012, I passed the Customs broker exam and I am a Licensed Customs House Broker.
Manage, complete, and respond to daily pricing requests in accordance with assigned due dates or service level agreements for new and existing customers in multiple modes, products, or trade lanes for both transactional quotations and lower-complexity RFQs. Contribute to the development of pricing tools by serving as a subject matter expert in both the operational and technical aspects of pricing global forwarding business for new and existing customers. Collaborate with management and peers to identify best practices to provide continuous improvement in the quality of pricing activities and trends that lead to more favorable win ratios.
• Ensure to meet CHR air export compliance rules and various matrixes (timely billing, complete stops, etc.) • Process air export EXW, DAP, DDP shipments (establish costs, pickups, routings, aes filing, follow up and invoice) • Provide rate quotes (air export / import, ocean import, drayage shipments)
• Process mostly air export shipments (pickups, routing, bookings, awb, pre-alerts, follow-ups, and billing), also air/ocean import shipments, ocean export shipments, Canada road shipments. • Provide rate quotes. • Support the sales team.
• Process each shipment with high accuracy and in timely manner to make booking, arrange pickup, file AES/ ISF, obtain pre-alert docs, issue AWB/ BL, follow up customs clearance and arrange delivery • Provide rate quotes to customers and foreign offices for air/ocean imports/exports shipments and local services at origin/destination • Maintain good rapport with internal and external customers as well as vendors • Provide support to managers/colleagues in operations and sales
