I have over 25 years of experience in managing, planning and coordinating international live events, video productions, live broadcasts (specifically relating to live streaming and hybrid conferencing) and lecturing. My skill sets includes project and operations management; crew and logistics management; budgeting; technical planning and operations; training. I have worked on numerous international events, broadcasts and video productions, including Dubai International Jazz Festival, Cape Town International Jazz Festival, FIFA World Cup, IPL Cricket, DAKAR Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Lionel Richie, Robbie Williams, Miss Lauren Hill, Jennifer Rush, UB40, Snow Patrol, Ben Harper, Johnny Clegg, UAEFA, EMAAR, MEIRA Virtual Annual Conference, Multi-Choice Africa, Mundipharma, Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama. From 2004 till 2020 I was a part time staff member of Cape Audio College as Head of their Live Sound Department. I designed and maintained a 3 year diploma curriculum, for the Live Sound Module, which was accredited by the Department Of Education. I lectured the course as well as overseeing the management of the department. I have taken on the various positions as a manager, project management, sound engineer (FOH, monitors, studio and post production), audio systems engineer, video editor, visual graphic artist, camera operator, director and producer.
