I am a Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate with a strong interest in improving population health and tackling health inequalities. Through my postgraduate training, I have developed practical experience in health needs assessments, public health data analysis, and developing business cases for interventions. I have worked with real-world datasets, including community health profiles, deprivation indices, and Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs), to identify priority health issues and produce evidence-based recommendations. My dissertation involved developing a comprehensive business case for a pilot public health project, including evidence synthesis, programme design, evaluation planning, and budgeting. Alongside my academic experience, I bring strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. I have created health education content for diverse audiences and worked collaboratively on community-focused initiatives. In my current roles supporting children and young people, including those with additional needs, I have developed the ability to communicate effectively, adapt my approach, and work with empathy across a range of needs. I am particularly interested in opportunities within local government and community settings where I can contribute to prevention strategies, reduce health inequalities, and improve population health outcomes.
