Research Experience at the Battery R&D Department: Conducted research on electric modeling of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries by performing OCV (Open Circuit Voltage) and dynamic testing profiles using a cell tester. Implemented nonlinear Kalman filter algorithms, such as the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and Sigma Point Kalman Filters (SPKF), including the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) and Central Difference Kalman Filter (CDKF), for State of Charge (SOC) estimation of the modeled battery. The battery modeling and algorithm development were done in MATLAB, and the algorithm was implemented in C code for MCU-level programming. Specialized in communication protocols such as MQTT, SPI, I2C, CAN, and UART through my involvement in projects like firmware development for EV Battery Management Systems (BMS) and data loggers for household battery packs.
