I am excited to embark on the next chapter of my career as an Assurance Associate at EY, where I will be pursuing an ICAEW qualification. I recently graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in BSc Economics at the University of Bath. My journey has been enriched by hands-on roles as a Student Analytical Officer at NHS England and a Private Bank Internal Auditor at Barclays. These experiences allowed me to collaborate with dynamic teams, tackle real-world public health and financial challenges, and contribute to strategic decisions aimed at improving performance.     Took part in a dynamic 2-month summer internship with Barclays, where I was an Internal Audit Intern in the Private Bank team. I was involved in 3 audits where I gained experience of the whole audit lifecycle, including planning, testing and reporting. - Banking Excellence: I immersed myself in the world of private banking, gaining insights into the financial sector and contributing to audit processes that ensure compliance and excellence in client services.     Completed my placement with NHS England as a Student Analytical Officer, working on a range of projects within 3 NHS programme areas. In the first half of my placement, I worked with the Community Hospitals and Virtual Wards programmes, focusing on the performance of local services. I then worked more closely with the Elective Care programme, producing analytical work to keep track of the South East's performance at meeting annual goals of a reduction in waiting lists. - Data-Driven Impact: Analysed and interpreted healthcare data to aid in informed decision-making for better patient outcomes. I learnt to use SQL to extract data and complex features of MS Excel such as Power Query and Data Models to create dashboards. I also gained familiarity with Tableau as an alternative software for data visualisation. - Team Collaboration: Worked closely with a talented team of data analysts to produce products that meet the expectations of our stakeholders. I was also given administrative responsibilities such as managing the team mailbox and working with others in the team to organise events such as a Christmas Away Day. - Presentation skills: Frequently chaired and gave presentations at team meetings regarding the work I have recently done.
