I'm Teanna, Software Engineering Intern at Netflix, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with concentrations in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. I build developer tools and backend systems where automation, reliability, and iteration speed matter. Recent work spans backend performance (cutting API latency 80% with Redis caching at Morgan Stanley), developer tooling (DevTrack, a VS Code extension used by 600+ developers), and ML pipelines for high-noise signal data at the NSF. This summer, I'm at Netflix on the Games Platform Quality and Developer Productivity team, building internal automation to close process gaps across the games release pipeline. The focus: high-leverage tooling that lets engineers move faster without trading off reliability. Core stack: Python, TypeScript, C++, Java | React, Next.js | Postgres, Redis, MySQL | Docker, Kubernetes | GitHub Actions. Winter 2026: I'm exploring SWE Intern roles in developer productivity, platform engineering, backend infrastructure, and AI-powered tooling. If you're building systems where engineering velocity and reliability matter, I'd love to connect. Reach me at [email protected] or visit www.teannacole.com.
