I'm an experienced operations and compliance professional with 18+ years across financial services, fintech, and entrepreneurship, known for stepping into complex, fast-moving environments and bringing structure, clarity, and momentum. At Redhat Capital Plc, I was promoted from Executive Assistant to Head of Operations within 10 weeks, going on to build compliance and governance frameworks from scratch, oversee £1M+ in funds, deliver key regulatory submissions within strict deadlines, and lead cross-functional operations across finance, HR, and stakeholder management. My role concluded following a company merger and restructure. Before that, I spent 15 years at Lloyds Banking Group, progressing through operational, compliance, and leadership roles across Financial Crime, Business Unit Control, PPI Operations, and Product Risk; reviewing businesses against FCA sourcebooks, acting as Secretariat for Business Risk Committees, conducting AML investigations, and leading teams of up to 18 people. I bought and scaled a small dining bistro from a standing start to £100k+ revenue in Year 1, winning multiple industry awards, whilst simultaneously driving business development at a multi-award-winning Mediterranean restaurant. I also hold an ICA Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering (Merit). That’s why Redhat Capital plc was proud to launch The Redhat Charitable Foundation, a registered charity with the UK Charities Commission, dedicated to supporting Charities whereby all funds raised are used by the charity for the purpose of the charity and are not lost in salaries or administrative costs including: • Survivors of domestic abuse, helping them rebuild with dignity and independence • Mental health, breaking the stigma and providing support • Neurodivergent children, ensuring they receive the care, education and opportunities they deserve This marks a major milestone in our journey to give back. Not as an obligation but as a core part of who we are. The Foundation is our platform for meaningful, measurable impact. My role as a trustee is to ensure we achieve our goals for the future of making a difference wherever we can, both with our main three charity categories, but with others where we can too.
