The community team is the marketing arm for talent within Randstad Digital focused on brand, partnerships, email marketing, content, and events. Year 1 highlights: -→ 80% of all placements on the platform are sourced through community — zero paid ads, ever → 97% active rate among LATAM engineers — 40k+ have logged into the platform in the last 90 days → Scaled LATAM sourcing from 1,000 to 6,200 signups/quarter through in-person events and an ambassador program → Grew Discord from 0 to 3,500 members with 10k messages/month → Built content engine from scratch --> 1.4M organic impressions in 2025, no paid spend → Community newsletter holding 40% open rates consistently → 80+ global ambassadors across multiple continents → 50+ events across the US, Mexico, Amsterdam, and Barcelona in one year → Keynoted All Things Open (3,000 attendees) selected to speak at DevWorld (Amsterdam) and Springio (Barcelona) → Partnerships with Google, Microsoft, AWS, Notion, Digital Ocean, and CodeRabbit The proof that cuts through all of it: 8 developers have Torc tattoos on their bodies. That's not a vanity metric. That's what happens when community is built right. I don't run ads. I don't buy reach. I build trust at scale and I have the numbers to show it converts.
