As an Associate in the Technology, Digital, Data and Intellectual Property (TDDI) team at Slaughter and May, I advise clients on contractual and commercial matters, specialising in data protection, intellectual property, and technology projects. I have been admitted to practice since November 2021, after graduating with a Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, and completing an exchange program at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. I am passionate about using my legal skills to support the local community and address social issues, especially homelessness. In 2017, I co-founded UneARThed, a social enterprise that empowers artists experiencing homelessness to showcase and sell their artwork, and I serve as an advisory board member. During my legal career, I have held several intra-firm roles including as a member of the Communities and Partnership Committee, co-chair of a Young Professionals Networking Committee, coordinator of a national pro bono program in partnership with the Refugee Advisory & Casework Service in NSW, and the national co-lead of the Gender Equity Matters network.
UneARThed is a social enterprise based in Perth, which supports artists affected by homelessness by providing them with a sustainable source of income. This is achieved through the hosting of exhibitions where their artwork is available for purchase, and digitally printing artwork onto t-shirts through 'UneARThed Street'. UneARThed also aims to address the stigma of homelessness through educating the Perth Community on the prevalence of homelessness and providing our artists with our unfiltered platform to share their story.
