Reporting to the Head of Global People, I am responsible to provide leadership and oversight to South Africa and Mauritius region to deliver exceptional people service to every person throughout their lifecycle as an employee. Manage, engage, and deliver HR services to all primary stakeholders and leaders. Implement HR policies and procedures that are global best practices and compliant with the local labour law. Develop and implement risk management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Train and provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure all employees are adhering to the HR policies and assisting global leaders and employees with expatriate assignments and region-related HR matters. Deliver expectational people service by resolving employee queries efficiently within SLA with care. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Handling complaints, grievance procedures, and investigations and facilitating counseling with other stakeholders. Guide and support leaders on any CCMA referrals. Monitor the BBBEE & EE plan and provide a quarterly presentation update. Partner with leaders on performance management and employee development goals. Compile and facilitate WSP & ATR and ensure yearly submissions. Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.

Develop and manage relationships with universities, talent pools, and external events to build relationships and increase the target talent pool. Design, plan, and implement innovative recruitment programs and activities tailored to meet the needs of the target talent profile. Lead and manage the talent team ensuring resources and activities are optimised and personnel is engaged effectively and efficiently. Monitor and review team performance, recognize successes, and provide constructive feedback. Stay abreast of industry trends, trends in talent acquisition, and competitive landscape and adjust strategy appropriately. Utilise metrics to continually assess and improve the recruiting process. Ensure policies, processes, and procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
