My role included hiring of the team, training of the team, business development (sourcing transactions) and leading the advisory team on several M&A transactions. M&A transactions I led include the sale of National Drilling Company, the privatization of Bank of Alexandria (buy side), the privatization of Banque Du Caire (buy side), Orascom Hotels and Development (capital increase) among others
Part of the infrastructure and energy finance team as well as the whole business securitization and European infrastructure team. My role was mainly advising/financing infrastructure projects in emerging markets and western Europe. Transactions included advising on the Hama Water Desalination Plant in Algeria,the Petro Rabigh Petrochemicals plant in Saudi Arabia and the Abu Dhabi Airport
