I also evaluate and analyze suppliers' performance evaluation, communicate with suppliers for follow-up and reporting status, and monitor progress in submission of engineering drawings/documentation, sub-ordering, and raw materials acquisition. Perform Procurement activities for EPC projects in Oil & Gas industry.
1. Coordinates and supervises suppliers’ performance and follow-up for post order activities including Engineering, sub-ordering, fabrication, inspection and shipping until successful delivery of the material up to site within assigned projects. 2. Ensure supplier fully understands the purchase order requirements, the scope of work, required delivery and the project milestones. 3. Evaluate and analyze suppliers’ performance evaluation. 4. Communicate with suppliers for follow-up and reporting status and monitoring progress in submission of engineering drawings / documentation, sub-ordering and raw materials acquisition. 5. Regularly issue the equipment / material status report periodically as required by project instructions / procedures. 6. Ensures that areas of potential problems will be individually highlighted by the issuance of an expediting report and recovery plan for late activities identifying suppliers’ action recover the delivery slippages. 7. Reports any unusual or potentially critical deliveries as well as coordinating for any assistance / guidance for resolving of generic and specific delivery problems.
Execution of large outdoor LED advertising displays, which requires product selection, technical evaluation of bids, project planning and budgeting, bids negotiation and construction contracting and supervision. Following projects are executed: Executed the following projects as a freelancer: 1- Outdoor advertising LED display (16m x 4m), Sales value = 1,000,000 L.E., Duration 6 months 2- Outdoor advertising LED display (2m x 1.5m) Sales value = 40,000 L.E., Duration 3 months The projects required the following activities: Sales: Selling the idea to potential customers and collecting the advance payment. Project Planning and Project Management: breakdown of the projects activities, determining project requirements and controlling during the projects’ execution Procurement Management: Finding vendors, selection of vendors, Tendering, Commercial evaluation, negotiation for the right terms…etc. Engineering: Technical evaluation of bids and design of the cable requirements for the LED display. Sub-contracting with Civil consultant and steel structure contractor (3.5 Ton LED display) Planning for the Construction activity and supervision during construction.
