I am a graduate from the University of Rhode Island receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting. During my 4 years at the University of Rhode Island, I was a involved in various organizations on campus, such as the URI chapter of Habitat for Humanity and the Chi Omega Sorority. I held leadership positions in Beta Alpha Psi - the Accounting and Finance Honor Society as the Secretary keeping track of membership and meetings. These organizations have allowed me to further develop my time management and communication skills.
I worked to establish efficient business processes for the organization to maintain clear accounting and payment records. Oversaw the finances of the 11 fraternities at the University of Rhode Island and worked with the treasurers to ensure they were in good standing with their national organizations and receiving payments in a timely manner.
I performed clerical duties such as filing, scanning and opening the mail. As well as answering the phone and directing the call to the necessary department. I also handled check payments for fire permits and various building permits, and entered the information into the computer.
