Studying at University of Central Florida, I received my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Education. I have since continued to build my career with science education by interning at Freedom Middle School, where I learned practices that will allow me to perfect my classroom management skills. I also worked with Kelly Education as a Substitute teacher, which allowed me to gain confidence in the classroom and gave me time to find my niche. I have since started a full time teaching position as an 8th grade Comprehensive and Physical Science Honors teacher at Union Park Middle School. I plan on extending my scope further in the near future setting bigger and brighter goals for my career as an educator. As of 2025 Quarter 2, I have successfully increased science proficiency scores with SBUA and PMA data.
