About

Multilingual researcher, project manager, teacher, editor, writer. Background in economics and statistics. Literate in quantitative and qualitative research methods. Current tasks: analysis of sustainability reports, designing a course for sustainability communication, teaching sustainable management practices and recent developments in human rights due diligence. Previously worked and excelled in multicultural teams and contexts (Europe, India, Southeast Asia). I have a wide range of software and project management skills, and experience in workshop organization, (online) moderation and teaching. Between 2017 and 2020, I managed the project "Inclusive Industrialization for ASEAN" (funded by the Canadian government organization IDRC) at the JustJobs Network (JJN), an international think tank in New Delhi, India. I coordinated the implementation of firm-level and worker surveys and expert interviews in collaboration with CESD Myanmar, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and Kenan Foundation Asia, focusing on apparel and consumer electronics. I also developed the research approach and communicated findings at conferences and stakeholder workshops in consultation with JJN. In my doctoral research, I focus on sustainability standards in supply chains, sustainability reporting and business accountability. I critically evaluate the implementation of the Agenda 2030 in supply chains, in particular Decent Work and its related goals, and refine the conceptual foundation of supply chain analysis. Enthusiastic about bringing research and policy together, I write and publish for academic and policy-oriented audiences (e.g. JustJobs Network Blog, Südostasien Magazin)
