Tania Binder advises boards, CEOs and investors on leadership, succession and governance at pivotal moments of organizational change. She is a senior member of Spencer Stuart’s Board, CEO, Private Equity and Technology, Media and Telecommunications practices, and she also co‑led the firm’s Software practice. Her work spans North America and EMEA and focuses on CEO succession, board composition and the selection of senior executives who influence commercial, cultural and organizational performance. Tania is widely known for her depth in enterprise software and for her market leadership in searches for Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Revenue Officers and Chief Customer Officers. Tania brings more than 20 years of operating experience leading marketing and sales teams across both enterprise software and consumer companies. This foundation gives her a commercially grounded and practical understanding of growth, customer dynamics and executive effectiveness. Tania has completed more than 300 leadership and board-level assignments and is recognized for her strategic clarity, cross-functional insight and sound judgment. She previously led Spencer Stuart’s West Coast offices and served on the North American Operating Leadership Committee. She received the firm’s Lou Rieger Quality Award for exceptional client service. She divides her time between San Francisco and Lisbon and holds a BA in Human Biology and an MA in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University.
