About

After the BSc. degree on ocean engineering and naval architecture I improved my experience on the following fields: - classification of ship, - drydocking, - project management of a new built ship, - chemical tanker designing, - machinery and cargo piping systems, - class matters with reference to IMO rules (SOLAS, MARPOL, LSA, ILO, IGC Code, FSS, FTP, IBC Code etc.) - drawings/documents review of machinery items, piping systems, fire protection, fire fighting equipments and life saving appliances, - type approval certification of machinery components, fire fighting equipments and life saving appliances according to IACS, MED, FTP and LSA requirments (e.g. flexible hoses, expansion joints, valves, emergency escape breathing devices, line throwers and etc.), - design assessment of existing ship for the assignment of class, - assessment of repair procedure for machinery items - support to owner for compliance with flag requirements, statutory items.
