As the APAC Manager for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) at Thomson Reuters, I provide regional leadership in designing, implementing, and governing integrated resilience, safety, and emergency management programs across diverse regulatory, cultural, and risk environments. Leveraging my clinical nursing background, professional safety certifications, and over a decade of multi-site EHS and BCP experience, I ensure the protection of our people, continuity of critical operations, and compliance with regional and global standards. My expertise spans enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including business impact analysis (BIA), risk and threat assessments, crisis management frameworks, emergency response protocols, and site‑level contingency planning for natural disasters, public health emergencies, geopolitical disruptions, and technology outages common across the APAC region. I work closely with Global Security, IT Disaster Recovery, Facilities, HR, and senior leadership to align continuity strategies with organizational risk appetite and business priorities. On the EHS front, I lead the deployment and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety management systems, aligned with ISO 45001 principles, regional regulatory requirements, and corporate governance expectations. This includes conducting EHS audits and inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), contractor safety management, ergonomics and industrial hygiene programs, and environmental compliance initiatives. I also oversee medical and occupational health services, including clinic operations, health surveillance, emergency medical response, and health insurance administration across multiple APAC locations. I have a strong focus on environmental health, workplace safety, and employee well‑being in hybrid and flexible work environments, addressing psychosocial risks, remote work safety, and pandemic preparedness. Through data‑driven reporting, incident trend analysis, tabletop exercises, and employee engagement programs, I drive a proactive safety culture that enhances workforce resilience, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
