As a Senior Executive at FWD Insurance, I apply my analytic skills and statistics knowledge to analyze and model various insurance products and risks. I am involved in the development and testing of the IFRS17 project, which aims to improve the financial reporting and transparency of the insurance industry. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2021, where I excelled academically and received the Dean List Award. I also completed several actuarial exams and certifications. I gained practical experience as an Actuarial Executive and an Industrial Trainee at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, where I performed various actuarial tasks and supported the team with documentation and enhancement. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies that can help me solve complex and challenging problems in the insurance sector. I am also motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the growth and innovation of FWD Insurance, which is one of the leading and fastest-growing insurers in Asia. My goal is to become a qualified and competent actuary who can provide valuable insights and solutions to the business and the customers.
