Established a free community health clinic in South Los Angeles to address the high prevalence of heart disease and diabetes risk in the area. In partnership with local churches and patient assistance programs, our mission is to improve access to preventative care and tailored health education to combat the social determinants of health. Spearhead the development of a research study examining the effectiveness of a culturally-tailored dietary intervention in the Hispanic community to decrease the disproportionate prevalence of chronic disease in coordination with Dr. William J. McCarthy. Managed a team of 10 research assistants in creating and delivering intervention material and presenting poster and manuscript.

Lead translational research dissemination and coordinate with UC-LEND clinic to streamline resources and promote vaccine confidence in the neurodevelopmental disability community.
