Through one on one mentorship via web internationally or personal consultancy I help professionals and non professional horse owners and carer's of horses attain a more biologically correct comprehension of the dynamics of the metabolic hoof organ within or against the horse. Through one on one tuition horn deformities are corrected at the pace of the horse towards a biologically more correct form and full function which in turn has the knock on effect of auto correcting stance gait and internal metabolism. By consulting with equine carers: vets, owners and breeders my special areas of knowledge are outside of traditional conventional hoof parameters focussing on correction of particularly bar pathology, and so can offer different outcomes. Foundational training apprenticeship was with a farrier and I trimmed the "American or Mustang-style" trim for 4 years prior to 2006 Strasser training, professional course and examination process was completed in February 2008 following the poisoning of one of my horses and successful retention of all 4 hoof capsules thanks to that method; I am not Strasser registered as my work deviates from it. My informal hoof trimming training began in the Karroo desert of South Africa in the early 1990's, trimming 70 barefoot horses on a Stud farm to which I was employed as "Foals Aunt". Trimming was done on my days off. I have authored an inspirational audio book on horses called Stories From My Story thanks to editorial help and production with NZ on Air; which includes my time creating and living successfully with wild horses on the sanctuary where the bar apex correction concept was born and successfully developed. I am invited to study animal communication and equine healing by Liz Mitten Ryan's herd of horses in Canada. I have a small dedicated art following.
