My job title was changed to reflect the evolution of my role from solely writing long form blog content to creating expanded media around it from graphics and visuals to video content for social media and YouTube. At Animalz, the bulk of my day-to-day involved developing SEO-driven content for B2B/Saas clients through strategic ideation, research, and writing. As a result of my efforts, my primary client’s blog grew 161% in new users from my start on the account. I also spent time creating, managing and executing client strategy through a change in ownership of the primary client. My role also involved managing projects and people from clients to freelancers using industry best practices.
This break led me to discovering remote work, content marketing and starting my full-time career in both 8 months later
At Pulse, I developed compelling, cross-platform strategies for prospective and existing clients. Together with my team, I worked on conceptualizing creative ways to promote Pulse's products to businesses. My team also assisted in developing sales and marketing material through detailed research to support the Sales teams across Africa.
